Checking In
When you arrive at our Mason City dentist office, we will ask you to take some time to fill out our new patient questionnaire. For your convenience, we have the new patient forms (adult and child) available online for you to download and fill out prior to your appointment. Because we need to make sure we have a thorough understanding of your medical history and any allergies to medications, these forms are extremely important. Having a full picture of your overall health will help our team provide you with the best possible dental treatment.
We will also need to have your up-to-date insurance information on file, so we ask that you bring a copy of your dental insurance card with you to your appointment. If anything changes, be sure to give us an update once you’ve become an established patient with us.
Exam Time
For your first exam, we want to be as complete as possible so that our Mason City, Iowa, dentists can give you the best possible treatment for all of your oral health needs. This examination will take approximately one hour and will include an assessment of your teeth, gum, jaw alignment and soft tissue. We will also take x-rays to identify any areas of infection that may need treatment and hard cast models of your bite may need to be made. Financing is also available through Care Credit. 3, 6, 12, 18 months interest free options are available.

Many companies in our area provide dental insurance for their employees. If you are covered by dental insurance, payment will be easy for you. We will file your claim and, in most cases, accept assignment of payment. You will only need to pay your deductible and the percentage required by your policy. We participate in Delta Dental of Iowa.
